Maryjo holds a BA in Product Design and earned her MA in Fashion Business from Nottingham Trent University in the UK. Driven by a passion for jewelry and accessories, she founded CHOWS upon graduation as a reflection of her individual style. With years of industry experience, Maryjo has established herself as a successful designer and trusted partner, known for delivering exceptional work to buyers, brands, and suppliers alike. Alongside developing her own label, Maryjo has designed pieces for renowned fashion brands such as Joules (UK), Next (UK), Silk & Soie (UK), ELLE (UK), J.Crew, OGGI (Japan), Comfort SRL (Italy), and David Charles (UK). She currently works from her home studio, surrounded by nature, her daughter Alba, and their adopted puppy.

In 2025, CHOWS expanded to Boston, Massachusetts, through Vicky, a longtime friend and dedicated supporter of Maryjo’s craftsmanship. With over a decade of experience in the tech industry, Vicky brings deep expertise in business operations and customer success. She’s passionate about building lasting relationships and ensuring every customer feels seen and valued. A proud Boston local, Vicky leads CHOWS JEWELS in the U.S, sharing its story and spirit in a city that perfectly reflects its blend of heritage and innovation.
